Atom Lab:
Windows 10 has been installed on Mg Control and Mg wavemeter PCs. But installation of Labview still remains.
Ernst wanted to know if IPG laser can be used to make 1064 nm lattice. It cannot be, since the coherence length is only around 2 mm for this laser.
Quench laser:
Philipp is implementing housing around the outside of his laser box. This will allow him to keep the whole system including TA running. This is important since he saw significant temperature fluctuation of the laser diode housing after turning ON the TA which leads to large frequency drifts during the whole warm-up period which can last for a couple of hours even.
Afterwards, he plans to properly check if there is any influence of laser drivers on the frequency stability.
