    * Move to python? -> Yes, is faster
    * Rely as much on external libraries as possible! (E.g. the boltzman distribition: scipy.stats.boltzmann)
      * This will prevent you "reinventing the wheel" all the time over again and is in principle also optimized to run faster than any own implementation
